Also note that system calculates 10,512,000 [Binance Smart Chain](https://tagprotocol.gitbook.io/tagprotocol/technical-glossary/binance-smart-chain) blocks as one year. This is based on 3 second block production rate of [Binance Smart Chain](https://tagprotocol.gitbook.io/tagprotocol/technical-glossary/binance-smart-chain). Hourly rewards are calculated every **1200 blocks** based on the same principle.
